Zion Goh

Born in Singapore, Zion Goh, started his music journey from the age of 6 months old under the Suzuki Early Childhood program. He started to learn the piano and cello at age 3 with his parents Dale & Yvette Goh. Since 2020, he has been studying the piano with Dr Christina Tio and the cello with Dr Alice O’Neil.
From Jan – Mar 2021, Zion participated in Virtual Festivals and Competitions and has been blessed with feedback from Master Teachers from all over the world as well as the following awards:
• Northwest Suburban Music Teachers’ Association (NWSMTA) Beethoven Festival – Gold Medalist (Piano)
• Northshore Music Teachers’ Association (NSMTA) – Sonata Sonatina Festival – Gold Medalist (Piano)
• Chicago Area Music Teachers’ Association (CAMTA) – Sonata Sonatina Festival – Gold Medalist (Piano)
• Bach with a view Young International Artist Festival and Competition – 2nd Place (Cello), Honors list (Piano), Most Versatile Award
Downer’s Grove Music Club Piano Festival and Competition Level 3 – 1st Place (Piano)
