Winner of contests and competitions, he started the didactic activity in 1982 at the Conservatorio of Cosenza (Calabria). He’s currently piano professor at the Conservatorio “G.B.Martini” of Bologna (Emilia Romagna).
His curiosity pushes him through various different experiences, starting from less famous works of the pianistic literature’s big authors, to arrive to chamber collaborations such as duet, trio, quartet or quintet, from four-hands piano repertoire to the music of contemporary authors.
Recently his attention has moved to Ancient and Baroque music, as he has developed a true passion for the harpischord’s solo repertoire and the fabulous variety of aspects that the ‘600 and ‘700 music presents.
He has played in the most various and complex instrumental combinations but also as a soloist, attending, in the meantime, courses at the Ancient Music Department of the Conservatorio of Music “Cherubini” of Florence, where he graduated in harpsichord with the Professor Annaberta Conti.
Luca Rinaldi, violinist belonging to the school of the Professor Sandro Materassi, studied in Florence with Professors such as Giorgio Ballini, Sandro Materassi and Cristiano Rossi.
He attended specialization courses at the Music School of Fiesole with the Professor Renato Zanettovich and at the Chianti Academy of Siena, where he obtained scholarships and Diplomas of merit.
Award winner of numerous national and international contests, he played as soloist with various orchestras such us: The Sanremo Symphonic Orchestra, The Florentine Chamber Orchestra, the Cavalieri Orchestra of Grosseto, the Orchestra of the Fiesole Cathedral Chapel, the Rinaldo Franci città di Siena Orchestra, the Etruria Training Orchestra, the GAMS ensemble Orchestra, the Arezzo Orchestra and the Viotti Youth Orchestra, playing numerous concerts in Italy and abroad in countries such as: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Mexico, Malta and receiving great approvals.
