Araksia Nazlikian began her violin studies at the age of 7 in Yerevan Armenia.
After received Bachelor of Music Degree in Romanos Melikian Music College, she emigrated to United States. While in Fresno she continued her studies in Fresno College then Fresno University where she made her debut solo recital and performed with the orchestra.Past 20 years she lives in Los Angeles and she is been active freelancer with various orchestras such as Fresno Philharmonic, Monterey Symphony, Thousand Oak Philharmonic and San Luis Obispo Opera. She has worked with many famous musician, including Perlman, Zukerman, Ani and Aida Kafafyan, Zuill Bailey and Rostropovich. Araksia has been recitalist for MTAC Fundraising for several years. She continues to be part of the music life in the Los Angeles area both as an orchestra player and chamber musician.
Araksia Nazlikyan, violin will be part of the Enlightenment Music Series concert at 1pm-1:55pm at Location A as well as the Brandenburg No. 3 ensemble, which will be the final performance of the Bach marathon at Union Station.
