New Haven joined Bach in the Subways in 2018, and this year United Church on the Green is hosting two sessions, on Thursday, March 21 (Bach’s actual birthday) and Saturday, March 23, both from 3-7 pm.
The church has a three-manual Baroque-style organ by Hillebrand/Moore/Brombaugh, a Steinway grand piano, and a one-manual Dowd harpsichord, all available to keyboard players for solos or ensembles. All three keyboard instruments are tuned to A – 440.
