Bach in the Subways 2020 will be back in Philadelphia! Over the past several years, BitS has grown to include performances by Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians, students from the Curtis School and amateurs, playing everything from flute, clarinet and bassoon to a digital pipe organ! Press coverage has been great, too!
We’re looking for musicians, singers and volunteers (elementary and high school students and groups would be wonderful) to expand bringing the Bach to the City of Brotherly Love at transit stations, other public spaces, and surrounding counties. We’re seeking performances for all days – March 19-25 – let’s get a big turnout!

Please include in your email the time/date of your performance request, the number of performers and the nature and length of your program. Amplification, such as using a digital piano or background music for singers, will likely be permitted, but please describe your particular needs in the email to Kevin Hamlet.
Once you’ve gotten everything set up, register your performance on the Bach in the Subways website and get started practicing!
