Emily and Anthony Chua

Emily and Anthony Chua will perform a selection of Bach, including selections from the Well-Tempered Clavier and the Goldberg Variations, Siloti’s arrangement of Bach’s Air, and a variety of four-part chorales. Also to be performed are several chorale preludes, romantic-style pieces of music based on Bach chorales, composed by Dr. Cory Hall (also known as BachScholar®).

Emerald City Saxophone Quartet

The Toccata and Fugue in D minor as arranged by Nigel wood captures the sounds of the Organ performance exquisitely – the Chorale and Fugue is a well arranged reduction of the original Motet. The Bouree is a sanguiner juxtaposition of a sprightly, noble theme in a major key and a more wistful, contemplative theme in a minor key. The Toccata in F is a delightful little gem from the Hollywood Saxophone quartet in the spirit of PDQ Bach
