Music in the Underground Gallery
Joining the global initiative “Bach in the Subways” and the European Day of Early Music, which commemorates the birthday of Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach, we invite you to a concert of early music in an unconventional space – in the underground gallery and 1st-floor lobby of Vilnius TV tower. The works of Baroque genius J. S. Bach and other composers of that period will be performed by participants and teachers of intensive Erasmus BIP courses “Early Music Week” of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre – Monta Martinsone (soprano; Latvia, Lithuania), Māris Kupčs (harpsichord; Latvia, Lithuania), Ieva Baltmiškytė (baroque guitar, baroque lute; Lithuania, Belgium).
Concert partner – Vilnius TV Tower.
Erasmus BIP courses-project “Early Music Week” is organized by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Abigail Sin & Yibin Seow
Abigail Sin
Singaporean pianist Abigail Sin’s musical journey has taken her to concert venues across the globe, from the Aram Khachaturian concert hall in Yerevan to Wigmore Hall in London. A top prize winner of several international piano competitions, she is an alumnus of the prestigious Verbier Festival Academy and is a Young Steinway Artist.
Abigail is the co-founder of the More Than Music concert series, which aims to bring classical chamber music to new audiences. Upon completing a PhD at the Royal Academy of Music in 2018, Abigail joined the academic faculty of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
Yibin Seow
Yibin Seow is a Singaporean-born oboist and conductor. His love for Baroque music was first kindled under the guidance of Emanuel Abbuehl in Musik Akademie Basel, who showed him the limitless artistic possibilities of playing Baroque music on the modern oboe. A few years later, he is appointed Guest Principal Oboist of Chamber Philharmonic Taipei, an ensemble which was dedicated in exploring and performing Baroque music.
One of his current favourite pastime is to play through various compositions by Bach, such as his flute and violin sonatas, partitas and the cello suites.
Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra & Booker T. Washington HS
Join WRR101 to welcome members of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and orchestra students from Booker T. Washington High School for a free performance to celebrate the birth anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach. It’ll be in the green space on Level 2 of Mockingbird Station from 7-8 pm on Thursday, March 21st. Complimentary sub sandwiches will be provided by New York Sub in Highland Park.
