Adrienne Andisheh

Adrienne Andisheh has been playing and performing on the violin for over 20 years. Former pedagogues and mentors include William Preucil, concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Professors Allen Ohmes and Don Haines of the Stradivarius Quartet. In addition to her work with CMLA, Adrienne is a freelance violinist, equally at home in the orchestra pit as on stage at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Ms. Andisheh is a co-organizer for the Bach Marathon at Union Station. She is passionate about the importance of keeping classical music alive and relevant today, and is so excited to be an advocate and active participant in the exceptional grass-roots movement that is Bach in the Subways. She would like to personally express her gratitude to and admiration for Jeehyun Lee, head organizer of Bach in the Subways Los Angeles, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Chamber Music Los Angeles (CMLA) is a community of high-level musicians in the Greater Los Angeles area. Living in a city as diverse as Los Angeles, our shared aim at CMLA is providing exceptional musical and educational programs with the goals of progress, expansion, and inclusion in mind. We are committed to cultivating emotional connections within our community through the production of creative and innovative performances, as well as outreach initiatives in order to foster new audiences. CMLA is proud to partner with Bach in the Subways in the presentation and celebrations of several of Bach’s masterworks.

Felix Hernandez

Felix Hernandez-Jones has been playing Viola and Violin for nearly twenty years. He was introduced to the Viola in middle school and an awkward friendship with the instrument ensued punctuated largely by awkward silences and askance looks. He studied both Viola Performance and Music Education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton and was a viola student of Madeline Prager and Janet Simms. Aside from free-lance playing in the Greater Los Angeles area he enjoys mentoring younger instrumentalists as a Teaching Artist with Heart of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Academy of Music. His hobbies include contemplating crippling self- doubt, being overly caffeinated, and baking scones.
