Cuarteto Simé

Cuarteto Simé will be performing music and arrangements for guitar of the music by J. S. Bach. Alvaro Najera, Hiram Acosta, Edgar Camargo, and Carlos Casas formed this quartet in 2010 to spread Music and cultural values in Chihuahua and surrounding areas. The quartet’s name, Simé, means “playing a musical instrument” in the Raramuri, Tarahumara language of the inhabitants of the mountains of Chihuahua. The name reflects the pride they have in their roots and ancestry.
Even though the quartet covers various musical genres, they are always focused on the art of classical guitar.
