Rebecca Cochran – Flute Alone

Rebecca Cochran presents music for flute alone by J.S. Bach and sons amidst works of the Traveling Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society.

The atmosphere is informal, inviting visitors to peruse the exhibition at their own pace with live music of Bach to complement the art.

James Stark | 10-HR Bach Marathon | Union Station | Location A by TRAXX Restaurant

James Stark at Union Station, Location A by Traxx Restaurant James Stark began playing the violin at the age iof seven. He has been a concertmaster and soloist with many orchestras.  He was concertmaster of the Fresno Philharmonic for 10 years and played for 8 years as a regular substitute member of the San Francisco Symphony.  In 1981 he was appointed as concertmaster and soloist with the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra where he performed as soloist for 150 concerts throughout Europe, Scandanavia, the United States and Canada.  Since coming to the Los Angeles area in 1996 he has been a member of the first violin section of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra and appeared as the onstage solo violinist in Handel’s Julius Cesar with famed countertenor David Daniels.  Throughout the years he has been the leader of backstage and onstage bandas.
