Palo Alto Plays Bach | Rinconada Library

Palo Alto High School students perform Bach:
Andrew Lu, Flute
Emil Ernström, Keyboard

Program

  • Movements from Flute Sonatas in C major and E minor
  • Prelude and Fugue No. 6 in D minor (from the Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I)
  • Praeludium BWV 999
  • Selections from Orchestral Suite in B minor
  • Miscellaneous dances*

Andrew Lu & Emil Ernström are both seniors at Palo Alto High School. Soon to pursue a career in flute performance, Andrew has had much enjoyment and experience performing works by Bach, among other composers. Emil, soon to attend college for music composition, has similarly found much reverence in the works of Bach. Although Emil and Andrew often collaborate on musical matters, this will be their inaugural performance for Bach in the Subways.

Andrew and Emil will also be performing at the Mitchell Park Library at 3:15pm
