Enlightenment Music Series | 10-HR Bach Marathon | Union Station | Location A by TRAXX Restaurant

Enlightenment Music Series will be at Union Station’s Grand Waiting Hall at 1:00pm-1:50pm. PROGRAM: Orchestral Suite No.2 Brandenburg Concerto No.4 Double Violin Concerto.

Since our inaugural concert in 2006, the Enlightenment Music Series has been dedicated to bringing audiences the finest performances of chamber music repertoire, dating as far back as the Renaissance and continuing through the centuries to the finest works of our time. The series presents free concerts for listeners ranging from connoisseurs to chamber music newcomers of all ages, providing listeners a comprehensive perspective on the art of chamber music. The performing artists of Enlightenment Music Series are multi-generational expert chamber musicians, soloists, and recording artists.

The Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles (SMPLA) is an association of music teachers who use the Suzuki Method™ to teach violin, viola, and guitar to children of all ages, and to provide musical enrichment experiences to children ages one to three through the Suzuki Early Childhood Education program.
The SMPLA Mission is to: “provide a positive environment where children find joy in making music together, where they are eager to learn and motivated to practice, and where they reach a high level of competence in the Suzuki repertoire and in other musical genres.”
