Tineke Steenbrink studied organ in Utrecht with Bernhard Winsemius and Willem Tanke, and harpsichord with prof. Ketil Haugsand at the Hochschule für Musik Köln. Her study here was sponsored by the Dutch ‘Fund for stage performance’ and the VSB bank. She graduated in 2004 by passing her ‘Konzertexamen’. Anna Schweizer (cello) was born in Vienna, where she studied the Cello at the university for music. After graduating she received a study grant which allowed her to continue her Cello studies in Holland, at the Conservatory Utrecht and Rotterdam, where she graduated with the Master-degree. Anna is educated both as a modern cellist and as a baroque cellist. After her Cello studies Anna went to train as an Alexander-teacher in Amsterdam, were she graduated in 2012. Anna is married with Tineke, living on a houseboat in Utrecht, teaching the Cello and Alexandertechniek and playing in various ensembles and projects both modern and baroque. Anna has a baroque cello ‘Jacob Weiss, Salzburg 1740’ of the Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation on loan.
