The University of Virginia McIntire Department of Music presents Birdsong/Bachsong: Sonic pleasures of spring in celebration of J.S. Bach’s birthday on Monday, March 21st at 8pm in Old Cabell Hall. This free concert is made possible by the UVA Music Synergies project & the UVA Vice Provost for the Arts. Join us for a unique event celebrating the birthday of JS Bach. UVA Music Performance Faculty will perform solo and chamber works by J.S. Bach, with soundscape interludes featuring the ecoacoustics of spring. Meet the artists at a reception preceding the concert in the lobby of Old Cabell Hall at 7:00PM.
