PERFORMANCE
INSTRUMENT
Diana Irving has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California since 1984, although she grew up in the midwest (St. Louis area). She is a mental health therapist and has done clinical supervision of therapist interns and been a field instructor for graduate students working toward earning their MSW degree. Diana currently works at a non profit agency in Palm Springs and is about to transition into a private practice later this year.
She has played flute since elementary school (played piccolo for about 5 yrs) and been involved with music at various levels including school and church bands/orchestra, directing choirs, playing for weddings and other special events. This past year two of her flute duet arrangements were published on the flutetunes website. This is her third year playing for Bach in the Subways.
In addition to her solo performance, Diana will be performing duo and trio flute pieces with her daughter, Alexa Smith and granddaughter, Valimina Spangler. Click here to check out their Bach in the Subways page..
