On Saturday, March 21, 2015, the Eastman School of Music is joining musicians around the world to celebrate J.S. Bach’s 330th birthday, part of an international movement called Bach in the Subways. We are uniting to perform free Bach in a public space, Hart’s Local Grocers, 10am-1pm, on Saturday March 21 to share our love for our art form and sow the seeds for future generations of classical music lovers. Current students and faculty from the Eastman School of Music, as well as the Eastman Community Music School, will be performing.
