The Conservatorio di Musica Lorenzo Perosi joins the international event Bach in the Subways with a series of musical performances organized and performed by the Institute’s students. Through live performances, the young musicians will pay tribute to the life and work of Johann Sebastian Bach, bringing his music to the public and sharing with the community the richness of his extraordinary artistic legacy. The initiative aims to celebrate the genius of the composer while promoting the diffusion of classical music through the energy and talent of new generations.

Mia is a professional trombonist, improviser, and educator based in Los Angeles. Her performance will use Bach’s immortal cello suites as jumping-off points for improvisatory soundscapes.
