First Street Woodwind Quintet

We will play an arrangement of Bach organ music for woodwind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, french horn, bassoon).

Tina Christiansen

Organ concert with music by Johann Sebastian Bach on Bach’s birthday. Tina Christiansen (DK) is a very active concert organist with an extensive international career as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. She has played numerous concerts in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, England, Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia and Russia. She has played solo concerts at some of Europe’s largest organs in e.g. St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey in London, Riga Dom in Latvia, Kaliningrad Cathedral in Russia and St Florian Stiftsbasilika (International Bruckner Festival) in Austria. Upcoming engagements in the 2026/2027 season include concerts in Germany, Finland, Poland, Denmark, Norway, England and Canada.
In 2025, Tina received the Minister of Church Affairs Mette Madsen’s Honorary Scholarship.
In 2013, she graduated from the soloist class (the advanced postgraduate diploma) at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (DK) and Malmö Academy of Music (SE). During her studies, Tina received several scholarships and she was a finalist and award winner at several competitions, including 3rd prize at the “4th Feliks Nowowiejski Organ Competition”, Poland, and 1st prize at The Royal Academy of Music’s Soloist Competition.
Tina has played concerts with several Danish orchestras, she has recorded CDs and she has played the world premieres of music by more than 20 composers from Denmark and abroad.
Tina is the organist and director of music at Ansgar’s Church in Odense (DK), and she is the initiator and artistic director of the Odense International Organ Festival.
She teaches at Danish National Academy of Music, MGK Fyn and Løgumkloster Church Music School.
