Finnish Baroque Orchestra

The members of the Finnish Baroque Orchestra will play Bach’s inventions and symphonies with cello and viola, and Bach’s solo cello suites in the subway of Helsinki between 9-11 am, 11 am-1 pm and 2-4 pm.

Australian Bach Society: Bach at the Arcade

In the cultural melting-pot that is Melbourne, the Australian Bach Society will be celebrating Johann Sebastian’s birthday in the heritage shopping arcade Block Arcade, more specifically in The Dome with its brilliant acoustics. A number of performers will present Bach in both historical and new contexts. Hear Bach’s music on instruments ranging from 18th century replicas to much newer and culturally diverse instruments, thus demonstrating the timelessness and diversity of Bach.
